Overview
The client is a Swiss HealthTech startup from EPFL who has been using our selected partner’s services since 2017 to build a suite of data analytics and image processing software supporting breast cancer surgeries and digital pathology workflows. Leveraging revolutionary imaging technology, the platform enables real-time morphology visualization, significantly improving surgical outcomes and diagnostic precision.
Objective
To develop an integrated HealthTech software ecosystem that empowers clinicians with tools to visualize, annotate, and interpret histological images in real time, directly during surgery. The platform helps reduce re-operation rates by up to 75%, as supported by the POLARHIS study.
Team Composition
- Up to 15 different specialists at different cooperation stages
Technology Stack
- Back-End: Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL, H2 Database, Liquibase, Apache FOP, dcm4che
- Front-End: Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, Node.js
- Testing: Custom DDT (Data-Driven Testing) framework
